As in previous years, all sections of our Scout Group will be joining 2nd Herne Bay Scout Group and other members of the community with a service at Christ Church, William St. Herne Bay. The congregation then parade through town to the War Memorial in Memorial Park for the silence at 11am.
This is one of those rare times where we ask for full smart uniform please – this means school trousers or skirts, school shoes, Beaver jumper and neckerchief (nicely rolled with a woggle please!) If you are missing any Scout items please let us know so we can organise a replacement.
Drop-Off: from 9am, Herons Leisure Centre Car Park.
Pick-Up: 11:15am, Memorial Park, Spenser Road.
Please check in with a Beaver Leader when dropping off/picking up your young person so we know who is present.
Parents and carers are welcome to stay for the service which begins at 9:30am.
Events like this one count towards several Beaver badges, and anyone attending will also receive a special badge as a thank you.
We hope to see as many of our Colony there as possible!
