Dear Parents/Guardians,
The 1st Herne Bay Scout Group is moving Gift Aid records to an online format. The reason for this is that it will:
- Make it easier for us to claim Gift Aid efficiently
- Reduce paper use and help the environment
- Improve record-keeping for better tracking
Even if you’ve previously filled out a paper form, we kindly ask you to complete this new version. You only have to complete one form, even if you have more than one child within the scouts group.
If you are unable to sign up to Gift Aid, you can also opt out via the form. This will help us eliminate you from any chasing emails.

Why Gift Aid Matters
Gift Aid allows us to claim an extra 25p for every £1 you donate—at no extra cost to you! This additional funding helps us provide more activities, equipment, and opportunities for our Scouts. It truly makes a difference.
