St George’s Day Parade 2026 – Save the date!

Event: District St George’s Day Parade (1st HB Leading!)

Date: Sunday, 26th April 2026 Time: 1:45 pm – 4:15 pm (approx.)

Location: CHANGED – Now WESTGATE GARDENS, CANTERBURY (Meeting Point) to Canterbury Cathedral

Description: Join 1st Herne Bay as we take the lead at this year’s District St George’s Day Parade! This is a prestigious event where our group will be at the very front of the parade, representing Herne Bay at Canterbury Cathedral.

Full smart uniform is required and we will be having professional group photos taken. These will be a huge support to our hall fundraising efforts.

Schedule Summary:

1:45 pm: Arrival & Group Photos at Westgate Gardens.

2:15 pm: Parade begins through Canterbury.

3:00 pm: Service at Canterbury Cathedral.

4:00 pm: Service ends/Dismissal from Cathedral.
