Hi everyone,
Following the recent news regarding a meningitis outbreak in Kent, the Group Leadership team wanted to provide a quick update.

We are following the advice from Kent Scouts and the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA). All section meetings (Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, and Explorers) are proceeding as planned.
The current advice from Kent County Council is that there is no reason for children to miss their usual activities unless they are unwell or have been specifically contacted by the UKHSA. We are monitoring the situation daily and will follow any further guidance issued by the UKHSA and the Scout Association. We will update you via the usual channels if anything changes.
